Known issues:
- Underperforming chipset/board
The motherboard or chipset may deliver subpar performance compared to similar products, which can result in reduced memory bandwidth, poor memory latency, and bad AGP performance. This can negatively impact overall system performance.
Notes:
Uses a VIA VT6103 Fast Ethernet PHY controller.
Can be overclocked from BIOS or via FSBSet using ICS950902DF chip setting. F5 bios is the last to include functional PXEBoot support.
Has incredibly poor memory latency performance. Setting PCI latency timer from default of 32, to 64 increases overall memory performance.
AGP Support of this motherboard is simply awful. Many AGP 8X cards do not POST, lead to screen corruption or other issues.
