29 January 2002 - I have found back the v07 BIOS !.

You have this motherboard and have lost the manual, or it doesn’t tell you everything ?
I had one too ! (But it has difficulties with UDMA, and lost the floppy disk drive interface).
Here is everything useful I could gather :
Main features :
-1 ZIF socket 7 (super7) for processors Pentium, Pentium MMX, K5, K6, K6-2, 6x86(L), 6x86MX, MII. And K6-3 maybe ?
-3 DIMM slots for RAM 66/100 MHz, 8/16/32/64/128 Mo, SDRAM or EDO (unbuffered).
-2 ISA slots.
-4 PCI 2.1 slots.
-1 AGP 1.0 slot.
-2 IDE Ultra-DMA 33.
-2 USB (rear) + internal connector for 2 more.

-VIA MVP3 Chipset - (VIA Drivers here)
-Flash BIOS Award 4.51PG, identification strings:
"10/19/1998-VP3-586B-8661-CB581XVIC-00" and "V.581.04" (original ?)
"01/13/1999-MVP3-586B-866-CB581XVIC-00" and "V.581.07" (year 2000 correction, downloadable here and here).
Will maybe be downloadable here (page empty so far).
Evidence is Daewoo does not support any more (if ever) it’s motherboards. The only BIOS update is not available any more !
On the Award site something is written about paying for an update, and there is a utility for identifying the BIOS serie, but I don’t know what it is worth because I don’t use this board any more.

Known limitations :
-Hard disks up to 32 Gb (not recongnised above).
-Processors up to K6-2 at 100 MHz x 6 = 600 MHz (maybe more, but they don’t exist anyway).
-RAM up to 3x128 = 384 Mb.
The Jumpers :
The pin 1 is usually pointed by a small triangle and/or is surrounded by a white frame and/or has a square soldering.
nd means Not Documented.
-No Jumper (set it on one pin only so you don’t loose it)
OJumper set (2 pins only)

Processors can react differently, as 6x instead of 2x.
For non-standard settings, BIOS will display closest smaller standard frequency (ex: 95x4.5=428 MHz, but displayed 400).
Don’t believe this liar BIOS ! The processor really runs at 428 MHz.
